We stayed for 3 months in 2015- Jan thru April. Best part about this place is the people that return every year; some have been coming longer than 20 years. New friendships are made each year; we loved meeting everyone during our first stay. Many persons give back to the local community by volunteering to work for local charities. Plenty of Activities scheduled in the winter including Bingo, Potlucks, game nights, dances and daily exercise at the pool. Swimming pool is heated outdoor- sauna is small but works great, 2 hot tubs- one above ground and one below.......large clubhouse and pool hall with 4 tables. Showers in Pool hall are very nice; both men's and women's. We are going back this year for another 3 month stay. Manager is new and seems eager to please. Wifi issues last year, but understand that has been corrected ........and is now free.
Not sure why someone would rate poorly. My sense is they would be hard to please regardless of the circumstance.
The resort is a bit dated, but compared to others in the area, you can't go wrong for the price which was 339.00 per month plus electric for full hookups; 30 amp service.
Friend's stay here. It's nice, clean and quiet.
There rude people that run this place we were in one camper for a week the maintenance man tried to fix the issue said he couldn't moved us then the office calls us when the office is "closed" to tell us we have to move our s!&t back to the other camper today! Once we said we love watching the turtles swim they say don't eat them wth really I feed the turtles daily sometimes twice a day
